EL1 Assistant Director required for a Federal Government contract

**Your new company**

Hays are excited to be working with a Federal Government Department who are looking for an EL1 Assistant Director Research to undertake a 12 month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing department and manage a pre-emptive pilot program, working with internal and external stakeholders nationwide.

**Your new role**
- Collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders to scope, deliver and govern research evaluations
- Analyse qualitative, quantitative and survey data, reporting and maintaining project records
- Evaluate and report on research data in line with departmental guidelines, SOPs, legislation and other ethical requirements
- Create and present reports and slideshows of findings with digestible information to internal and external stakeholders outside of the research and evaluation branch
- Work in collaboration with other teams inside the branch, providing support to junior staff when required
- Undertake other research projects working with community members of various backgrounds
- Support implementation of research findings, acting as a point of authority for any related queries

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Significant experience working in research and development roles previously
- Strong understanding of quantitative, qualitative and surveying methods, ability to interpret and report on data sets
- Previous experience working in field of behavioural sciences - desirable
- Ability to obtain a Baseline Clearance and working with Children's Check
- Eligibility to work for the Federal Government
