**Job Description**:
Manage a varied portfolio of customers with a focus on retention and growth
Are you an experienced Territory/Account Manager looking to join a global ASX listed organisation and take the next step in your career? Would you like to help customers become more sustainable?
As a valued part of the Sales and Customer Solutions team, your role will be to manage, own and develop the relationship between CHEP and its Customers to retain and grow market share. This role will be based out of our Rochedale office, with a territory in Brisbane metro plus one regional centre requiring up to twice quarterly travel. It reports directly to the Regional Manager, North.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Create and foster relationships with key customer contacts- Form multi-functional management relationships with customer organisations- Deliver superior customer service- Focus on retention and growth within the account portfolio through regular customer visits and commercial negotiations- Managing in-depth and complex customer issues including equipment excess and asset control to minimise customer equipment losses- Developing additional new business-
- Solid sales, relationship or territory management experience- Experience in solution selling- Exposure to Supply Chain/Logistics would be an advantage but not essential- The ability to identify new opportunities within an existing customer base- Experience developing and implementing customer plans- A highly motivated and proactive approach- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
