This role would be suited to a recent finance graduate who has an interest in analytics and wants to gain commercial experience. A hybrid accounting/ finance analyst role within the Operations team of the business. Each day will be different from processing journals at month end to providing detailed analysis and insights on the performance of Operations (including stores) to enhance profitability and favourable outcomes.

We are looking for:

- Commercially minded accountant that is as comfortable presenting to Senior Leaders of the business as they are in a spreadsheet full of data.
- High level attention to detail, this is a faced paced environment so the ability to be on the ball will be highly regarded.
- Ability to problem solve, not afraid of going through the detail and following up on leads to provide insights.
- A passion for working in Retail will be highly regarded.
- Experience in Power BI, not just using but building dashboards/ reports through to report rollout.

Tasks for this role (list not exhaustive):

- Processing month end journals
- Analysis of P&Ls at store and consolidated level
- Preparation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly report packs
- Improvement of business processes
- Detailed analysis as required by the Senior Finance Business Partner and other Management
- Building partnerships and maintaining strong relationships with all senior managers and their teams
