Seeking experienced Trades Assistants and Riggers for an 18-month project down at Garden Island working on a major wharf extension. This is an ongoing project offering solid hours and good rates of pay. With multiple positions on offer this a fantastic opportunity to register your interest to secure a role.
We are looking for solid operators that can work in demanding environments, have the ability to use power tools and can work well under pressure. These roles will offer diverse and challenging settings to assist in the completion of the infrastructure associated with this project.
**Responsibilities**:
- Use of power tools/hand tools
- Assist other trades in the construction of the wharf extension
- Assist with rigging and lifting if ticketed (RB)
- Ability to work well in a barge positioned in the water in difficult sometimes conditions
- Other duties as directed by site supervisors
**Requirements**:
- Good experience using hand tools, power tools and rigging experience
- National Police Clearance (clean) 21 days due to Garden Island location
- Ability to pass a clean DAS
- High Risk Licences - Working at Heights and RB
- White Card
- Ability to work 10 hr days
Pay rates is $52/hr FLAT with super paid on all hours with good hours on offer. The positions are located at Garden Island and due to the sensitive nature of the location security protocols apply.
