Southern Steel Supplies, a leading steel distribution company has an exciting vacancy for an experienced Transport Allocator to join their team. As Transport Allocator, your main objective is to ensure the smooth, cost efficient, timely delivery of product to customers.

About the role

Role Location: Milperra, NSW

Role Type: Permanent Full time, Afternoon Shift (2pm - 10pm)

Your responsibilities will include:

- Scheduling deliveries on daily basis ensuring customer needs are met and paperwork/documentation is completed.
- To optimise use of contract transport to ensure cost minimisation and maintain customer service.
- To liaise with sales team and warehouse teams to ensure productive and feasible warehouse/transport operations.
- To liaise with transport contractors to resolve any issues.
- Supervise drivers and contractors.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

- Afternoon shift
