**About you**:
To be successful in this role you must be an enthusiastic customer service professional with more than 3 years extensive and recent experience in a face-to-face customer service environment. You will be a mature individual who is extremely reliable and always willing to go the extra mile to deliver customer service at the highest level. Your career history will clearly show that you are a dedicated team player who accepts any challenge.
**You must have**:
- The highest regard for safety and security
- The ability to sustain long hours and be flexible to work shift work, 24/7 and 365 days of the year
- The professionalism and maturity required to work in a role where you are the "face" of the airline
- Outstanding time management skills and the ability to multi-task
- The ability to work in a fast-paced ever-changing team environment
- Be genuine, caring and build trusting relationships with your customers and colleagues
**The role**:
- Perform cabin safety functions, including identifying safety matters, taking action to address safety matters and co-operating with other crew to reduce the risk of injury to passengers and your workmates
- Provide excellent customer service and be genuine and caring when it comes to offering our customers food and beverages and what they may need to feel comfortable
- Ensure effective communication within the cabin and cockpit and with Qantas Management to maintain an effective and harmonious working relationship
- Maintain skills, knowledge and physical ability to perform all emergency procedures
- At all times display professional standards of behavior and personal presentation
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Current COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate with valid CPR with 12 months validity
- Current Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- Australian or New Zealand permanent residency and a passport ensuring unrestricted access to all Qantas ports of call with at least 12 months validity
- Able to swim 50m unaided
- Reach (minimum): 212cm
- Arm span (minimum): 127cm
- Height (maximum): 186cm
- Successfully complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment
- Ability to hold an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Successfully complete a nominated ground school training and assessment program
