Support Worker

**Job Title**: Support Worker - High Intensity Assistance (Personal Daily Activities)
**Location**: Greenfield, ACT

**About the Role**
We are seeking compassionate and skilled Support Workers to provide high-level personal care and daily living assistance to a client with complex needs who is predominantly bed-bound. The client requires PEG feeding, continence support, and a high standard of personal care. This role is ideal for someone reliable, empathetic, and professional who can deliver safe, person-centred care while promoting dignity, comfort, and quality of life.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide high-intensity personal care, including showering, dressing, grooming, and repositioning.
- Deliver PEG feeding and follow all health-related care plans.
- Provide continence care, including changing nappies and maintaining hygiene.
- Assist with nutritional and hydration needs, including meal preparation as required.
- Maintain skin integrity and support pressure care management.
- Use safe manual handling practices, including hoist transfers and repositioning.
- Maintain accurate progress notes, incident reports, and documentation.
- Support participation in meaningful daily activities when possible.

**About You**
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, or equivalent
- Experience providing high-intensity personal care to clients with complex needs.
- Competence in PEG feeding and continence care. PEG Feeding Certificate
- Strong manual handling and hoist transfer skills. Manual Handling Certificate
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Empathetic, patient, and committed to delivering person-centred care.
- Reliable, flexible, and proactive with a strong work ethic.
