**The Opportunity**:
Currently, we are seeking a dynamic experienced lead mechanical engineering technicians to complement our growing team. Numerous roles will be based out of Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane offices with work in country and regional areas. We have secured several large projects and contracts across Australia & are looking for individuals who are seeking a new challenge and thrive on leading a small team.

In this role you will work across several areas of our operations to aid & develop your skills in our unique industry.

**Your responsibilities in this role include**:

- In house & Onsite work which includes testing, inspection and certification of customers lifting gear, engineered and Height safety assets.
- Assessment of lifting gear for repair and maintenance.
- Leading a small team on-site.
- Installation & maintenance of ropes, sheaves & rope attachments for critical services.
- Design, manufacture and maintain bespoke lifting & measuring devices.
- Height safety inspections (including harnesses, lanyards, etc.) & installations.
- Lifting gear test, tag & repair.
- Proof loading testing & reporting.

This role will excite you if you are passionate about the industry, are highly organised and have a strong attention to detail. Experience in and/or knowledge of the lifting/construction industry is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience in a lead role is essential.

Base Salary for these roles will be between $85,000 - $95,000.00 per annum depending on experience and qualifications. Opportunities for over-time are also available. Please note that this is a full-time position only at this time.

**What you will bring to Ranger**
- Previous experience in a mechanical fitting or engineering role.
- An understanding of Australian or ISO lifting Standards.
- High Risk Licence (Dogging/Basic rigging or higher).
- People & supervisory skills.
- Natural mechanical aptitude.
- EWP ticket (can be provided).
- Working at heights ticket (can be provided).
- General Safety Induction in the Construction Industry.
- Commitment to safety.
