**Salary: $90,000 - $96,000 Package includes Super and Bonus Payments. Additional Travel Allowance also applicable.**

**Role**

Due to company growth, Extend is looking for an experienced Area Manager for this people management role. You will have demonstrated experience managing people, preferably in the Child Care or Education sector. You have leadership skills, the drive to succeed and the desire to support working families. Your 'can do' attitude and solution focused approach will contribute to your success

**Responsibilities**
- Lead and manage OSHC teams in schools in the North region.
- Oversee all aspects of service management and ensure services are delivering high quality experiences for children.
- Demonstrate an understanding of business efficiency and responsible service management.
- Evaluate and review program content, staff performance & conduct Educator appraisals.
- Build & maintain excellent relationships with principals, school staff, parents, regulatory authorities and suppliers.
- Prepare and support educators for Assessment and Rating reviews.
- Monthly rostering and reporting.

**Criteria**
- Past people management experience favorable, but training is provided.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain excellent relationships internally and externally.
- Proven past success in management in any sector with the ability to demonstrate measurable outcomes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- An understanding of the National Quality Standards and My Time Our Place frameworks are beneficial, but training is provided.
- A current VIC Working with Children's check, First Aid 004 and Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
- Current drivers' license and own car (car allowance provided).
- Completed a Diploma or above in Childcare, Education, or equivalent.
