Our client is an established trades and building company with many successful projects. They are a privately owned company with strong reputation in the market.
**The Role**
An opportunity has arisen for an Accounts Officer to join the team. This is an excellent entry level opportunity for a recent accounting or finance graduate to launch their career. Full training is provided.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Data entry of invoices
- Coding invoices to the general ledger
- Extracting data to do reconciliations
- Dealing with supplier and customer queries
- Assisting with month end processes
- Preparing payment runs
- Invoicing customers
- Escalating issues quickly so that they are resolved efficiently
**Requirements**:
- Certificate, diploma or degree in accounting or finance
- Excellent attention to detail and approach to your daily tasks
- Able to work well in a team
- Keen to learn and develop
- Good general computer and systems skills
