A great opportunity has become available for a temp to perm HC driver located in Ballarat, Victoria Our client is seeking reliable, experienced, hard working truck drivers to join their growing team. Key Features

Ballarat location
$36.25 per hour
Monday to Friday
8am to 4.30pm plus potential overtime
Training provided

Responsibilities but not limited to

Operating a HC semi trailer
Conducting pickups and deliveries of steel products
Loading at 8am and unloading at customers via crane or forklift
Multidrops across Ballarat and surroundings
Can travel as far as country (2/3 hours will be the furthest)
Restraining load
Keeping interior and exterior of vehicle clean
Electronic/Paper log book must be maintained
Using tablet provided
Report to auditor for load to be checked for compliance
Provide outstanding level of service
Full commitment to safety for yourself, customers, the public, environment and other staff
Report incidents/accidents immediately
Respect and abide by all road/traffic laws
Adhere to all standard safety operating procedures
Must have or be able to

Experience with load restraints (advantage)
Experience within the building industry particular steel and timber
Valid HC licence
Local to the Ballarat area and surrounds
Minimum 12 months driving a semi
Be able to travel to Laverton or Altona for a induction/interview
Knowledge of state-based roads and rules
Ability to use technology on a daily basis
Excellent driving skills
Professional presentation
Great work ethic and attitude
Provide a driving history check
Need to be attentive with load restraint.
Steel experience is preferred.
Safely do manual handling
