**We have 2025 lunch cover vacancies across the Metro North and Metro Central regions at the following locations**:
**Bundoora Preschool, East Ivanhoe Preschool**, Eltham North Preschool, Katrina Preschool (Blackburn North), Larch St Kindergarten (Blackburn), Lower Plenty Preschool, Studley Park Preschool (Kew) and Walker St Kindergarten (Clifton Hill).**Hours will vary depending on the sessions offered at each kindergarten, generally ranging from 2-3 hours per day, although there is possibility to combine lunch cover roles across 2 local services for additional hours (where practical).

**Your Role**:
As a Lunch cover Educator with Y Kinders, you will have the opportunity to:
**Create Engaging Learning Experiences**: Design fun, creative, and tailored educational activities that nurture children's curiosity and development.

**Build Meaningful Relationships**: Connect with children and families to foster a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome.

**Collaborate and Grow**: Work alongside a passionate team of educators who encourage creativity and teamwork.

**Ensure Safety and Compliance**: Maintain a safe environment and follow the National Quality Framework (NQF), Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF) guidelines.

**About You**

You’re a dedicated, enthusiastic educator who loves working with young children and fostering their development. You’re looking for flexibility and opportunities to grow in your career. Ideally, you’ll have:

- Educators: Diploma in Early Childhood Education (or working towards it).
- A strong understanding of the NQF, EYLF, and VEYLDF frameworks.
- The ability to create and deliver engaging, child-centred learning activities.
- A valid Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC), current First Aid certification, and a Police Check (or willingness to obtain them).
- A friendly, team-oriented attitude and the ability to work with different age groups in various settings.
