The Role

The Reporting and Analysis Manager is a business leadership role within the Group Finance Team, working closely with Regional Finance Teams and Business Leaders in leading Aurecon’s Enterprise Reporting Platform program, ensuring high quality financial and strategic indicators and provide astute judgement and insight to ensure the achievement of business goals.

In this role, the Reporting and Analysis Manager will embrace digital innovation and thinking differently to solve future problems, provide meaningful insights on business performance and is a seasoned reporting and analysis expert. You will demonstrate extensive reporting skills and experience, analyse data to draw out meaningful insights and trends to drive business performance.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.
- Support the monthly management reporting, and quarterly forecasting process including the provision of insights, trends, and key drivers to enhance business performance
- Leverage and enhance existing systems and processes for measuring the group’s performance against strategy, budgets, and forecasts
- Digitise, automate, and streamline reporting and analytical processes and tools across the group
- Prioritise and manage deliverable to meet group and finance reporting requirements and deadlines
- Partner with Enterprise Services leaders to understand cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost savings
- Provide expanded analytics reporting to enable exploration and analysis of business data to discover and identify new, meaningful information and trends that provide future focused analysis
- Responsible for ensuring Aurecon’s Enterprise Reporting Platform remains relevant in supporting Regional Finance teams and Business Leaders in their reporting needs.

What we are looking for
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and technical post tertiary qualifications including CA or CPA qualifications or equivalent
- Strong experience in reporting and planning role in a large corporate environment
- Excellent analytical capabilities and stakeholder management
- Experience in using data analytic tools to gain insights into trends and business performance
- Track record in partnering with broad stakeholder group, providing financial insights, and demonstrated ability to influence cross functionally to deliver business results and change
- Experience in using Adaptive Insight planning and reporting tool will be favourably looked upon
