Maintenance Technician Shopping Trolleys

QHDC is Australia's leading supplier and manufacturer of Shopping Trolleys, we support major supermarket, hardware and liquor retailers.

We also offer a complete mobile maintenance service to our customers at their stores.

We are searching for energetic team members to assist with the repair and maintenance of shopping trolleys, Based in Melbourne Vic, servicing all Vic areas.

5am early morning starts are normal. 8 hour days. Travel in company provided vehicle. The Job requires you to travel and be away from home.

All accommodation is covered and a daily allowance is provided on top of your hourly rate.

No Previous experience is necessary. All training will be provided. This represents a fantastic opportunity for someone who has no industry experience who is looking for a start in a new career.

This role requires a self-motivated person with the ability to work with the team as well as work independently without supervision. Have the ability to identify, investigate and rectify maintenance issues swiftly and professionally.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate effective decision-making skills.
- Ensuring Work Health and Safety as a priority with a strong safety focus and high-quality standards.
- Travel will be required to fulfil this role.
- COVID vaccinations.
- Physically fit.
- Ability to operate hand tools.
- Sound attention to detail and a positive, proactive approach to all tasks.
- Ability to work unsupervised and show initiative and also work as part of a team.
- Punctuality, reliability, honesty. with good time management skills.
- Professional presentation and a confident and personable manner.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
