This NFP is a peak body that provides support and services to people - and their families - who live with the most common genetic life-shortening condition in Australia. One in 25 Australians carries this gene.
**Presently, there is no cure. But there**

When this nonprofit was founded in 1960, life expectancy rarely went beyond early childhood. Bit by bit, research and medical advances have changed that. Today, with ongoing treatment, 60% of those affected by this condition are aged over 18 - with some people surviving into middle age. But the fight has just begun.
Advocating for the entire community, this innovative NFP raises funds for research, membership programs, education and to raise public awareness of this debilitating condition.
In an ever-changing environment, the function of your role will be to lead the membership and services teams, ensuring the customers experience (CX) is central to the service provided. You will be charged with the oversight and maintenance of the Salesforce CRM database plus system add-ons and perform all the thousand and one other tasks that your experience informs you are usual in a role of this type. (We can provide a PD).
**But this job extends ‘the usual’ with the chance to works hands-on across numerous areas.**
For example, liaising with stakeholders to ascertain that services provided are really what’s wanted and needed, constantly checking for potential service improvements, managing the public education program, implementation of grants outcomes - including acquittals, looking for systematic gaps and inefficiencies, investigating upgrades to the IT system and equipment and many more responsibilities that make this job so varied and engrossing.
To be considered you will need tertiary qualifications (see above) preferably in IT, high levels of communications and interpersonal skills, a wide command of office admin, great skills across MS Office with Salesforce CRM experience a bonus but strong data base experience a must.
Organised, flexible, efficient, and unflappable, you are a warm, mature-minded, and considerate person with natural empathy, confidence, courage, and a strong desire to use your abilities towards achieving positive changes in the lives of vulnerable people.
