Williamstown North, Australia ADE Consulting Full time

SLS requires a Laboratory Technician to join our Melbourne (Williamstown North) NATA accredited Chemical Testing Laboratory to perform testing on soil, water, and air samples in a fast-paced laboratory.

We are looking for a technically oriented person with great attention to detail with at least 2 years' experience working in a laboratory setting.

**Your main responsibilities will include**:

- Weighing and preparation of samples
- Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment and instrumentation in accordance with ISO 17025
- Contribution to the laboratory quality control and quality assurance systems
- Reporting stock levels of consumables, standards, chemicals etc

**Skills and experience that are required**:

- Ability to work in team or independently
- Ability to reason and interpret with good attention to detail and clear record keeping
- Intermediate or higher in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be Australian Citizen or Permanent resident
