**About the Role**

YMCA WA is currently seeking **a Permanent Full-Time Assistant Early Childhood Educator** to join our team providing a safe, stimulating and welcoming environment for our children and families.

**Duties**
- Record observations of individual children or groups
- Implement a program that reflects children’s interest, development, culture, and the YMCA’s Approach to Learning
- Use strategies to encourage children to participate in activities
- Maintain a safe and hygienic and inspiring environment for the children attending the Centre
- Create positive relationships with children and families and team members

**Skills and Experience**
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent.
- HLTAID004 First Aid Certificate
- Current and valid National Police Clearance and Working with Children Check
- Enthusiasm, commitment and desire to work in Early Childhood Education and care
