The Training Specialist will assist the Defence Base Services (DBS) Contract in meeting and exceeding contractual performance obligations through supporting Services in assessing operational performance from a training perspective. Through Training Needs Analysis working with Senior Management to address identified areas for improvement.

This is a permanent full-time position.

**Responsibilities will include but are not limited to**:

- Work with National Manager of Training and Human Resources to align Defence Base Services Contract with business requirements
- Work with Technical Capability Leads to review mandatory curricula for each Service Line within the Defence Base Services contract
- Design and develop training solutions based on Training Needs Analysis in consultation with Service Line SMEs
- Administration of LMS for DBS Contract

**Key experience and Skills**
- 5+ years’ experience in training and learning design and development or working with Learning Management Systems
- Ability to adapt and handle multiple projects with different priority levels
- Understanding Adult Learning Principles is highly desirable
- Familiarity with recognised e-learning building tools. Specifically, Rise 360
- Cert IV in Training and Assessing desirable but not mandatory
- The incumbent to this role must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to the level of Negative Vetting Level 1 (Secret). **As a result of this requirement, the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen**
