We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic **Science Laboratory Technician** to join our team.
You will provide Science teaching staff with high level of assistance and support for classroom activities, a strong background in Chemistry would be highly desirable.
- Duties include: _
- working unsupervised in a school science lab;
- coordinating the use of scientific equipment and chemicals;
- providing some in class support to teaching staff during practical activities.

Through your well-developed laboratory skills, you will plan and select appropriate equipment, techniques and organise work for students.
You will have previous laboratory experience, ideally in a school environment along with great communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with staff and students.

**Qualifications in Laboratory techniques, technology or services, or equivalent knowledge, qualifications and experience are highly regarded.**

- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
