Ecologist/environmental Management Consultant

Brisbane, Australia Large Cattle Station Full time

Large cattle station seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in establishing and managing an environmental offset program. This role is ideal for a final-year environmental management (or similar) student or a recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in environmental projects.

**Role Type**: Casual, as-needed basis, with flexible working hours.

**Work Arrangement**: Hybrid role - Work from home with periodic attendance on the property (approx. 1.5 hours outside of Brisbane).

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Conduct on-site evaluations and assessments as required.
- Maintain and monitor the program and its compliance.

**About you**:

- Familiarity with the Commonwealth and State environmental offset programs is highly desireable.
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Willingness to travel to the property as required.

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
