LEGAL ASSISTANT - FLOAT

We are looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to support our Brisbane Legal teams in periods of absence and during workload peaks. This role will also provide support to Reception during periods of unplanned leave.
This is a 12 month parental leave contract.

**Key responsibilities**
In this role you will work closely with partners and teams to provide administrative support including:
- Liaising with clients and stakeholders
- File management
- Managing calendars
- Billing, time coding and reporting
- Arranging travel (including flights and accommodation)
- Assisting with events and business development activities
The ad hoc reception duties primarily involve:
- Meet and greet clients and promptly notify staff member (via phone) of guest arrival
- Provide switchboard services for incoming and internal calls
- Ensure immaculate presentation of meeting rooms and reception space
**Required skills and personal attributes**
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Proactive and able to work independently with limited supervision
- High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel)
- Advanced knowledge of CMS/Aderant or other finance related software
- Ability to develop and foster excellent professional relationships internally and with clients
- Demonstrate confidence, professionalism, responsiveness and excellent customer service skills on the client floor.
