My client is a Not-for-profit organisation who have support people with disability and mental health concerns as well as those who are aged, people at risk of homelessness, humanitarian entrants, youth, and Indigenous Australians.

North Ryde HQ, NSW based.

**The role**:
Initially a 12 month contract, with strong possibility to go permanent.

In this role you’ll assist the payroll manager in managing the payroll function to ensure accurate and timely processing of all payroll transactions.

Pending project work to at due diligence stage currently.

**Duties**:

- Payroll processing for up to 1,000 permanent pax, 300 casual
- Timesheets via online rostering systems, termination payments, salary packaging and establish new starters in payroll system within identified timeframes
- Respond to enquiries from employees regarding payroll matters including entitlements, EBA and Award interpretation
- Assist Payroll Manager for preparation, balancing and reconciliation of PAYG, FBT, superannuation, annual payment summary, Workers Compensation Premium.
- 1 - 3 years’ experience in payroll
- Knowledge of and/or experience with automated payroll processing of between 500-1000 employees
- Exposure to automated rostering system
- Proven experience dealing with sensitive and confidential information
- Police Check/Criminal History Check -Willingness to obtain
- Experience within the community services sector (desirable)
