Are you a customer service leader with a passion for retail and iconic Tasmanian products? Join Tassal as our Retail Manager and lead the front-facing arm of one of Tasmania’s largest and most well-known business.

This is your opportunity to be the face of Tassal to our community and customers. You’ll coach and develop your team across the Tassal Salamanca Store and Mobile Salmon Truck to be “best in class”, while working alongside experts from our marine, processing, and corporate teams.

**Tassal** Seafood Shop**:
Based in Salamanca Square, our seafood shop is located in one of Hobart’s most vibrant and historic retail precincts.

**About the role**

You’ll lead with an inclusive, outcome-focused mindset. You’ll be responsible for team management, sales performance, forecasting, budgeting, P&L oversight, and rostering; delivering exceptional results for our people, business, and customers.
- Develop, implement and manage a strategic retail plan
- Prepare and monitor budgets; drive sales and profit through inventory control, visual merchandising, and marketing. and maximise sales and profit through inventory management, visual merchandising and marketing
- Identify and support community engagement opportunties.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to grow our end-user customer base.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
- Support continuous improvement across our retail spaces through cross-functional collaboration.
- Build and maintain a strong safety culture and drive best practice in retail operations.
- Actively engage and educate customers and the wider community about our products and practices.
