**The Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity is available for an enthusiastic Retirement Villages Coordinator to join our property team at Newcastle Anglican. Based out of Anglican Care’ head office in Booragul, you will provide high quality and holistic customer service to all residents living within our villages. You will manage all aspects of our independent living accommodation, including the coordination of maintenance and resident activities, and assist with the refurbishment and sales process of vacant villas throughout.
This is a permanent full-time position, that does require travel. If you have previous Retirement Village experience or formal qualifications in healthcare and/or real estate, then we encourage you to apply.

**Role & Responsibilities**:
- Provide overall coordination and efficient management of the Newcastle Anglican retirement village units, located at various locations across Newcastle, the Hunter Valley and Mid North Coast, including resident liaison and maintenance activities.
- Provide a high level of customer service to residents and the community, including provision of effective communication and managing correspondence, complaints and other requests.
- Enable and organise village activities including social, transport, healthy living and safety matters.
- Assist with the sales, marketing and refurbishment of vacant villas within each retirement village.
- Ensure compliance with the Retirement Village Act and Regulations, having a thorough understanding of such in relation to documentation and contracts, sales processes, village rules, recurrent charges, capital maintenance and annual budgets.
- Input into the development, implementation and evaluation of an annual Business Plan for Retirement Living.
- Contribute to the budget process for Retirement Living.
- Manage all enquiries to the properties, including from prospective residents.
- Coordination of the wait list, including arranging inspections and tours, facilitating all admissions documentation, maintaining levels of occupancy and welcoming and orienting new residents.
**About you?**
- Experience within the Retirement Village industry preferred
- A clear understanding of the Retirement Villages Act and Regulations governing that Act
- Demonstrated experience in providing customer service in Health, Aged Care or Community Services Sectors, or a demonstrated understanding of these sectors.
- Highly developed interpersonal; and people management skills and ability to work harmoniously in a team environment.
- High level of written and oral communication skills
- Proven skills in implementing systems and processes.
