Logistics Coordinator

Full Job Description

Electrical company looking for a logistics coordinator to organize deliveries and manage jobs for our electrical installations teams.

The role will include the following duties:

- Prepare customer quotations
- Booking Interstate Freight
- Preparing reports for quality and compliance
- Ensure all day-to-day shipping, delivery and stock issues with existing Construction Customers, Principals and Transport Partners are sustained and nourished; that these Customers, Principals and Partners are wholly supported.
- Develop a sound understanding of the end-to-end supply chain and govern all routing and shipping options, issues, regulations and procedures, continually seek opportunities for service improvement, anticipate and settle problems in advance, ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Work constructively with our internal and off-shore teams

**MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated leadership experience in freight and organization
- Previous shipping background
- Background in Logistics or Operations
- Customer brooking & freight forwarding experience

**Salary**: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Rockdale, NSW 2217: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Operations: 1 year (preferred)
- Management: 1 year (preferred)
