**Your Opportunity**

We are seeking an experienced Head of Internal Audit to lead the function. Reporting to the Chair of the Board Audit Committee, with operational support from the CEO, your key responsibilities include:

- Developing and maintaining the internal audit methodology framework and supporting documentation
- Developing the Strategic Internal Audit Plan and corresponding annual internal audit plan
- Collaborating with external auditors and Group Risk to develop the Consolidated Assurance Plan
- To scope, plan, execute and report on internal audits across the Bank’s activities
- Testing and reporting on management controls and adherence to policies
- Maintaining and monitoring of the organisation-wide audit issues register
- Advising on internal control standards where new systems or operations are proposed
- Effectively leading and developing one direct report
- Managing regular communication with the Board Audit Committee

**Your Profile**

With demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within Financial Services, you will have exceptional analytical skills, able to process information efficiently and generate comprehensive reports which add value by enhancing organisational performance. You have strong interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively across the organisation, and act in a senior capacity. You will demonstrate effective time management and organisational abilities, enabling you to meet deadlines whilst maintaining exceptional work standards. You are results-focussed, taking ownership of your own and the teams’ objectives, working collaboratively to improve overall performance wherever opportunity arises. Relevant tertiary qualifications are essential.
