**About the Centre**

Benalla Aquatic Centre is proudly run by the YMCA on behalf of the Benalla Rural City Council. The Centre has 4 large pools including a 25m Pool, Program Pool, Toddler Pool (with a slide) and 50m Outdoor Swimming Pool. We also have a Gym and Group Fitness studio in which offers a wide range of equipment for all patrons and staff to enjoy.

**About the Role**

The Centre Coordinator is an important member of the facility leadership team.

You will manage and lead teams of employees within swimming lessons. Assisting with Student enrolments and Retention to ensure that the delivery of the programs and services meets agreed standards. They will lead, inspire, and motivate teams through clear and achievable team goals and ensure high standards of implementation of Policies and Procedures.

You may also be required to be a part of the Manager on Duty roster, where they provide support to customers and staff across all areas of the facility, and may act as a delegate of the Manager.

This is a part-time position with a starting hourly rate of $33.51 + Super

**About You**
- Ability to make decisions while under pressure
- Being able to manage conflicts with patrons and users
- Ability to stay alert and vigilant in a repetitive work environment
- Ability to multitask
- Providing excellent customer service for all members and guests
- Ability to lead a team of vast and different work experiences

**Essential Qualifications**
- Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate (Or desire to obtain the qualification)
- HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
- HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
- Austswim or LSV equivalent
- Swimming Lessons Infant qualified (or desire to obtain the qualification)
