We are seeking a well rounded Data and Analytics Principal for our D&A practice in Sydney. The purpose of our D&A practice is to build a better future with Data. Through trusted partnership with our clients, we co-create modern data solutions that drive results and improve the world. We are continuing to grow our practice whilst keeping Diversity, Equity and Inclusiveness at the forefront, and hiring individuals who share similar passion for data, technology and culture. Joining our team will present you with an opportunity to partner with our clients to learn from their data, create incredible digital experiences, and make the most of ML and analytics. We blend design, engineering, and expertise to help them build the future.
**What You’ll Do**
- Drive sales and operations for a rapidly growing practice area within Slalom
- Solve our clients most critical and difficult problems with cloud based, modern data architectures and advanced analytics
- Build successful outcomes with innovative data platform solutions for our clients, helping them fully leverage and organize their enterprise data to drive advanced analytics
- Collaborate with other practice areas to develop collaterals, including go-to-market offerings, marketing materials, and thought leadership based on key trends and use cases
- Lead business development and delivery of projects to solve complex client problems and deliver actionable insights across verticals
- Drive knowledge sharing and management locally and in collaboration with other markets to provide innovative solutions to our local clients
- Mentor and developing consultants of all skill and experience levels
- Work with a fun, collaborative team where everyone can be themselves and are provided the opportunity to love their work and life
**What You’ll Bring**
- Strong professional services background along with well-rounded experience to offer across different disciplines within data and analytics
- Good understanding of the AU technology market landscape
- Experience on any or all cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services, Azure, and Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in modern data architectures and relational database design and development
- Proficiency and hands-on experience with big data technologies
- Proficiency leading teams of data engineers and analysts on large-scale data projects
- Experience with agile engineering and product development lifecycles and ability to manage agile engineering client engagements
- Analytical approach to problem-solving; ability to use technology to solve business problems
- Excellent board-room presentation skills and senior client stakeholder management skills across the end-to-end client relationship
- Experience with disruptive technologies such as **Snowflake**, Matillion, DBT, Tableau CRM, Fivetran, Amperity, Segment, etc.
