Are you ready to make a significant impact on guiding Snowy Hydro's Business growth? We have an exciting opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Team Lead (Generation Technical) to lead a newly established Talent Acquisition Team, dedicated to recruiting technical roles for Snowy Hydro's generation business.

This role will see you leading, coaching and developing a team of recruitment consultants that collectively champion a positive, end to end recruitment process for applicants ensuring timely, respectful communication and transparency.

This is a permanent full time position based in Cooma, at Snowy Hydro's Head Office.

**In this role, you will**:

- Develop and implement a targeted talent acquisition strategy for the Generation business unit, aligned with Snowy Hydro's workforce transformation goals
- Collaborate with hiring managers and People and Performance Business Partners to understand current and future talent needs, proactively building talent pipelines and sourcing strategies
- Team - Set clear performance expectations, provide regular feedback and coaching, and recognise and reward achievement
- Monitor and analyse key talent acquisition metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality-of-hire, to track progress and identify areas for improvement
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on talent acquisition activities and outcomes for senior leadership and other stakeholders
- Utilise data insights to drive continuous improvement in talent acquisition processes and strategies

**What we're looking for**:

- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related area
- Demonstrated experience in a talent acquisition leadership role, with a focus on recruiting technical talent in a competitive market
- Deep understanding of talent acquisition best practices, including sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding, particularly for technical roles
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders at all levels
- Data-driven decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage talent acquisition metrics to inform strategy and process improvement
- Proven ability to develop and execute targeted talent acquisition strategies that deliver results
