SIXT Australia is seeking a **Full Time Area Manager **to join the team at **Sunshine Coast**.

**About the role**:
The **Area Manager** - **Sunshine Coast **is responsible for providing support in major areas of the business, reporting to the **Regional Manager** for SIXT Australia.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Manage all staff to achieve maximum efficiency
- Daily morning meeting with operational team
- set daily focus.
- Ensure all locations within the area of responsibility are supported with rentable fleet and drive utilisation targets accordingly
- Support staff by working on counter or any part of branch if required
- Create and maintain a positive working environment that promotes open communication & empowerment
- Drive change & company initiatives
- Ensure all staff fully understand their role & how their performance will be measured
- Ensure the annual Appraisal process (Blueprint) is completed in a timely and meaningful way
- Generate excitement and passion in customer service initiatives through open communication and sharing of best practice.
- HSE Compliance
- ensure that employees are adhering to safe work practices,
- that all relevant Policies and procedures are implemented,
- Make positive steps to understand the nature of the operations on their site and understand the potential hazards and risks associated with the business

***You’ll have**:

- Demonstrated effective usage of interpersonal skills along with communication style to coach staff in selling to customers and providing exceptional service
- Desire to work in a competitive environment where sales targets are exceeded & results are achieved through teamwork
- Proven ability to exceed customer expectations in terms of the service and quality of product offered
- Promotion of a professional, enthusiastic and flexible manner when dealing with customers, staff and the SIXT Australia brand
- Proven ability to lead & motivate a team
- Desire and passion to progress and pursue a career within SIXT Australia
- Current Driver’s License
- Car Rental Experience within a major airport
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
- Highly developed ability to problem solve
- Ability to work effectively during periods of high demand and stress dictated by the position
- Experience in negotiation, handling conflict and confrontation, and facilitating resolution
- Proven experience in working as part of a team
