**About the Centre**

There are four Council-owned (YMCA Victoria run) outdoor swimming pools in Mount Alexander Shire, located in Castlemaine, Harcourt, Maldon and Newstead. The team leader will play a key function of fulfilling 'Manager of Duty' during service hours.

**About the role**

As the Seasonal Team Leader at Mount Alexander Pools you will play a key role within the Mount Alexander team. You will lead and manage all aspects of the Outdoor Swimming Centre and ensure a positive experience for all visitors.

You will be providing leadership and directions to the Duty Manager, Lifeguard, Customer Service Officers and Café staff at the facility. In this role you will also implement and maintain systems to ensure the facility is always presented at a high standard and will work to ensure the delivery of continual facility improvements.

This is a fixed term full-time role with an hourly rate starting at $28.48 per hour (+ 25% casual loading) + super. You will need to be available to work a variety of shifts including mornings, evenings and weekends in line with the centres operating hours. We do also have the flexibility for this role to be undertaken as a casual position.

**Qualifications & Experience**
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Previous leadership experience is essential
- Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management, Business Management, or other related field will be highly regarded
