**Dancing Kangaroo Tours **is looking experienced, reliable, customer-focussed tour drivers/guides with a strong work ethic and an enthusiastic attitude to join our team.

This role is for our winery day tour of the Yarra Valley and surrounds. Good knowledge of local history, as well as the wine industry, will be an advantage.

The primary function of the Tour Driver/Guide is to effectively and safely operate company passenger vehicles (up to 25 seaters) and to provide professional customer service to the company’s clientele. In addition, the position will require the ability to provide a professional commentary to passengers with informative entertaining information on areas visited on tour.

The position requires you to meet and exceed set operational targets and key performance indicators whilst displaying exemplary work ethic and professionalism at all times. Superior communication and decision-making skills will be required whilst on tour.

The position also requires you to carry out the daily inspection of the vehicles rostered.

We have multiple positions for either part-time or full-time that includes weekend work.

The success of this role requires commitment, initiative, careful planning, problem-solving and decision-making, teamwork, multi-skilling, time management, communication, and interpersonal and supervisory skills.

**Skills, Qualifications & Experience**
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Ability to create rapport with customers
- Highly organized
- High level of initiative and ability to assess situations and make quick decisions
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Ability to be both creative and innovative yet practical
- Minimum Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle license
- Driver Accreditation with CPV (may obtain afterwards)
- Clean driving record
- Previous experience in touring - preferred
- Previous experience in dealing with groups of people - desirable

Please note you'll be expected to pick up & drop off our buses from our depot located near Derrimut (3026 VIC).

Contract length: 12 months

**Salary**: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
