**Assistant Day Tours Manager (Melbourne) - AAT Kings**
**The Role**
This role will see you assisting with the Operations of the Day Tour business in conjunction with the NSW Operations Manager, by developing plans and achieving cost objectives ensuring guest satisfaction based on meeting defined quality standards as well as selling and promoting the range of products within the set market.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Delivering exceptional customer service to our guests
- Support AAT Kings being the best choice for travellers to book with
- Support day to day operations in conjunction with NSW Operations Manager
- Maintain relationships with key industry partners
- To sell & promote the relevant Day Tour brand and the range of products within the set market
- Monitor and develop responses to competitor activities
- Maintain a high level of communication with the Coach Division, including coach ordering, dispatching, printing manifests and liaising with drivers and suppliers
- Produce monthly reports focusing on guest numbers and average loads including competitor analysis
- Maintenance of the TMS system including updating pick up runs, itineraries and any other duties as required
- Assist in the development of new product, with a view to being the market leader in product innovation
- Oversee the management of Day Tours Yield with the NSW Operations Manager
To be successful in this role, you will have;
- Prior experience within a customer service environment is essential
- Intermediate skills across the Microsoft Office suite (Excel - V Look Ups & Pivot Tables, Word, Outlook)
- Demonstrated experience in managing yield and average loads
- Strong understanding of the local market and sales processes
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and time management skills together with a positive attitude
