We are looking for an energetic, committed Childcare Centre Director for our beautiful heritage site, Burwood House - Early Learning located in Burwood, Melbourne. This was previously the site of Burwood Primary School and has been educating children since 1865. We have newly renovated the site and seek to open it for the benefit of the next generation of children and families.

We have a strong focus on servicing families and are always open to having discussions with parents on any matters that they would like to raise with us. Our key duty is to the children who attend our services and their families.

**About the centre & role**:
This role will require you to work closely with the Approved Providers and Operations/Compliance Manager. As this is a new site, experience in recruiting and opening a new service is not essential however highly beneficial.

**This is an off the floor Childcare Centre Manager role however it is the expectation of management that ratio is always adhered to and staff are supported.**

**To be successful in the role**:

- ECT Qualification (or willing to work towards)
- Strong understanding of NQF, NQS and Regulations
- **Previous experience in a Directors role is not essential, a strong 2IC or Room Leader would be suitable also. Thorough training for the role will be provided.**:

- Strong Leadership & Management skills
- Excellent communication (written and oral)
- Bubbly personality
