Melbourne, AUCYP Design & Construction Joint Venture (CYP D&C) has been contracted to design and build the tunnels and stations for the Metro Tunnel Project.

CYP D&C brings together three of Australia's leading construction partners John Holland, Lendlease, and Bouygues Construction.

The Metro Tunnel Project will untangle the City Loop by taking three of Melbourne’s busiest train lines through a new tunnel under the city. It will create a new end-to-end train line from Sunbury to Cranbourne/Pakenham, with twin nine-kilometre tunnels and five new underground stations at Arden, Parkville, Anzac, and two new CBD stations - State Library and Town Hall - which will directly connect to the City Loop.

We are looking for a Technical Document Writer, to join the project Completions Team. The primary purpose of this position is to deliver Operations and Maintenance Manuals for the Metro Tunnel Project across all asset groups.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Successful execution of this position will involve review and standardisation of O&M Manuals to meet end user expectations.
- Active stakeholder engagement and a continuous improvement approach will be required to achieve successful project outcomes
- Align with contract milestone dates to ensure acceptance of O&M Manuals by Asset owners
- Engage internal / external stakeholders
- Work closely with delivery leads to ensure timely completion of O&M Manuals
- Review and standardise draft O&M Manuals through consultation
- Continually improve O&M Manuals through structured iterative approach
- Amend O&M Manuals where required after receiving targeted feedback from external stakeholders
- Ensure O&M Manuals meet end-user expectations and requirements

**To be considered for this role, it is essential that you demonstrate the following;**
- Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalent
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience
- Experience with technical writing in a maintenance field
- Experience in rail or other complex infrastructure projects desirable
- Ability to present complex data in a clear, concise text and high level organisational skills
- Advanced skills in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite or related software
- Written, verbal and presentation skills e.g., facilitating meetings, stakeholder engagement.
