RBS Consumer Finance manages the development and delivery of all retail credit products, including Credit Cards, Personal Loans and Simple Credit products including Buy Now Pay Later.

The Credit Risk and CommAssets Crew within RBS Consumer Finance is accountable for managing all credit risk lending policies, strategies, automated decisioning, models and Comprehensive Credit Reporting, in conjunction with the data and systems that support this activity across Consumer Finance.

As a member of the Credit Risk and CommAssets Crew, you will be responsible for development credit risk reporting and insights, including but not limited to, Weekly and monthly credit risk insight monitoring & deep dives, Strategy & CommAssets monitoring, and Exception reporting control.

**In this role you will**

This role will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end credit risk analysis processes, from data extraction and analysis to interpretation and reporting, to support informed decision making across the business.

Other duties will include:

- Leading the development and delivery of data-driven insights on credit risk performance.
- Working collaboratively with key stakeholders across Consumer Finance Crews, including Finance, Collections, and product teams.
- Presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders, delivering insights in a clear and impactful manner.
- Mentoring and developing team members, ensuring high performance in both technical and non-technical areas.
- Designing and implementing advanced analytics tools and techniques to enhance credit risk analysis.
- Supporting the ongoing monitoring and reporting of key performance metrics and provide forward-looking insights on emerging risks.
- Collaborating with technology and data engineering teams to ensure optimal data infrastructure for analytics needs.

**We’re interested in hearing from people who have**
- Proven experience in credit risk management, credit risk analytics, or a related field.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or R. Experience with data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
- Strong coaching skills, with a demonstrated ability to coach and mentor high-performing analysts.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
