The technical role is responsible for the accuracy, integrity and timely provision of credit risk insights and reporting as it relates to the broader Consumer Banking, Business Banking and Institutional Banking portfolios, with the value-add to continuously improve analysis and reporting standards, processes, controls and capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide key Divisional Risk Management actionable insights and reports for the Consumer, Business and Institutional Bank to optimise commercial decisions
- Monitor bad debt provisioning and regulatory capital actuals and forecast
- Provide expert knowledge and work with the Data Integration team to design and build dashboards/reports/papers
- Ensure credit risk reporting is aligned to and support divisional key risks and risk appetite statements
- Accountable for appropriate financials for the Bank's statutory statements
- Develop analysis and reporting standards and ensure these are adhered to (ie. AASB 9)
- Deliver credit risk analysis and reporting to meet the needs of relevant stakeholders (Senior Management, the Board, Market and Regulatory Pillar, Credit related APRA returns)
- Implement quality control processes and improvements
Skill Requirements:
- Strong credit risk background, with 5+ years in performing hands-on risk analytics and optimisation
- Reasonable exposure to Consumer Credit portfolio is highly preferable
- Tertiary qualifications in Statistics, Finance, Engineering or related
- Adaptable to a fast churning and delivery-focusedstakeholder servicing environment
- Any experience inregulatory reporting, change management or projects is a plus
- Must be proficient in SAS programming, SQL & Tableau
