**About the Role**

The Marketing and Events Manager is responsible for the efficient delivery of marketing initiatives, communications, and events that align with the overall strategy of the EDU Group.

This role plays a vital part in enhancing brand presence, supporting enrolment objectives, and driving engagement across multiple audiences.

Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, the Marketing and Events Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and event activities to ensure impactful and consistent brand messaging.

The role is a **maternity cover for 12 months**, based at the **Sydney campus**.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Marketing_
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing to produce visually appealing content and copy for all courses relevant and specific to each channel
- Creation of marketing collateral (course guides, brochures, flyers) and management/production of cross departmental marketing requests
- Design and develop brand specific templates for business operations such as course materials, presentations, reports
- Events_
- Coordination and execution of all internal student recruitment events (domestic & international)
- Work in conjunction with the Sales team to plan and deliver on agent events and course specific marketing campaigns
- Collaborate on and provide support for external student recruitment events (domestic & international) including trade shows, fairs and expos
- Assist in the planning and delivery of current student events (orientation, graduation)
- Manage relationships with external vendors to source branded promotional materials, merchandise, and event supplies.

**Education, Experience, and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Event Management or a related field
- Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a marketing, communications or events management role, preferably within the education sector
- Demonstrated experience in planning and delivering successful events across different formats (in-person, virtual)
- Proven track record of managing marketing campaigns end-to-end, including content creation, execution, and reporting
- Strong understanding of brand strategy with a proactive approach to upholding visual and messaging consistency across all touchpoints.
- Experience working cross-functionally and liaising with a range of internal stakeholders and external suppliers or partners.
- Positive attitude and ability to think creatively and bring innovation to EDU and its subsidiaries
- Cross cultural awareness
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
