- About the Role- Work alongside Australia’s best and brightest minds-
- Support AGL’s fleet of wind farm related electrical infrastructure across VIC or SA- Responsible for safe and reliable operation and maintenance of AGL’s wind farm related electrical infrastructure and outage preparation and execution, our eBOP Technicians make sure our renewable energy gets to the grid safely and reliably.

We are recruiting for multiple positions to support the following wind farm sites across Victoria and South Australia:
- Macarthur Wind Farm (VIC)-
- Oaklands Hill Wind Farm (VIC)-
- Wattle Point Wind Farm (SA)-
- Hallett Wind Farm - (SA)-
- Hallett Hill Wind Farm (SA)-
- North Brown Hill Wind Farm (SA)-
- Bluff Wind Farm (SA)In your new role of eBOP Technician, you will perform scheduled maintenance and repairs to wind farm electrical infrastructure and support wind farm technicians in safely performing electrical tasks, such as farm level switching and electrical asset troubleshooting. Working closely with an eBOP Lead Technician, you will be supported by and work with fellow eBOP technicians, wind farm technicians and site supervisors as well as AGL’s extensive network of operations, engineering, and other support functions.

What you’ll be doing
- Reporting to the eBOP Lead Technician, you will:
- Perform scheduled maintenance, inspection, monitoring and repairs on wind farm electrical infrastructure.-
- Support in the development and execution of annual outage work scopes, with the support of AGL engineering, operations and maintenance support functions.-
- Support safe access controls such as PTW/LOTO, switching, isolation and energisation.-
- Participate in shift start toolboxes, hazard identification and proactive risk management activities.About You

You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the ability to confidently engage with people at all levels across the organisation and with external stakeholders. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills and a strong work ethic, you can successfully deliver both working autonomously and as part of a team.

What you’ll bring to the table- An Electrical Trade and High Voltage certification is essential and Global Wind Organisation (GWO) training and/or qualifications in working at heights, safety, manual handling, HV/LV rescue, fire awareness, first aid would be advantageous.-
- Experience with LOTO and switching procedure generation and execution.-
- Experience in outage planning and execution.-
- Experience working on wind farm electrical infrastructure is preferred.-
- Willingness to work at heights and in confined environments.-
