About the Role
We are looking for a results-driven and self-motivated Sales Consultant to join our team at Maintenance World. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy building relationships, conducting field visits, and closing sales deals. You will be responsible for identifying leads, managing the full sales cycle from prospecting to deal closure, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct onsite visits to residential, commercial, and strata-managed properties.
- Collect detailed site data, understand client needs, and assess project opportunities.
- Generate and qualify leads through proactive networking, cold visits, and client meetings.
- Present and explain Maintenance World’s service offerings clearly and confidently.
- Build strong client relationships to foster long-term business opportunities.
- Deliver persuasive sales presentations, tailored to the client’s situation.
- Negotiate terms and close deals, ensuring all required documentation and agreements are in
place.
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from first contact to final agreement.
- Maintain accurate and timely updates in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure smooth handover of secured projects.
- Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and seek referrals.
- Stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and competitive offerings.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience in field sales, B2B sales, or end-to-end deal closing roles.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a confident, professional demeanor.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of your sales pipeline.
- Understanding of building maintenance, restoration, or facility services is preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Tech-friendly with working knowledge of CRM tools and productivity apps.
Work Days and Flexibility
- 3 days per week (typically weekdays).
- Flexibility in visit scheduling based on client availability and sales priorities.
Remuneration
- Hourly Rate: AUD $30 - $38/hour based on experience.
- Commission/Incentives: Performance-based bonuses for deal closures and monthly targets met.
