Our System Safety & Assurance project portfolio is spread across diverse industries from defence to healthcare, energy production to transport and infrastructure. We focus on refining our clients’ needs and ensuring that the assurance solutions they seek are fit for purpose, safe and sustainable.

The Opportunity
At Frazer-Nash we offer professional engineers of any technical discipline a dynamic work environment, where you bring your own expertise to our group but with an enthusiasm for working across sectors and broadening your experience base.
Our group has specialised at the intersection between traditional Systems Engineering thinking and the deployment of Machine Learning, AI and Data Science in order to achieve a leap forward in terms of how critical assets are designed and managed effectively and efficiently through life.
**We currently have projects that involve**:
- Leading thinking on the assurance of autonomous systems
- Deploying machine learning in using big data to analyse and manage critical infrastructure
- Digitising systems engineering processes for increased productivity
- Unlocking existing transport regulatory frameworks to enable autonomous operations
- De-risking Australia's commercial space launch activities
- Providing integrated assurance of Australia's sovereign space surveillance capability
- Delivering system safety programs for naval surface ship and submarine programs in Adelaide
- Providing systems engineering and safety assurance support to rail infrastructure projects in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne
- Improving the efficiency of power generation and transmission networks through innovative modelling and analysis

**Requirements**:
**If you have the following, we want to hear from you**:
- Bachelor of Engineering/Science Degree (essential).
- Australian Citizenship and/or be eligible to obtain an Australian Defence security clearance (essential).
- Systems engineering knowledge and experience (desirable).
- System safety and assurance experience (desirable).
- Excellent client management/stakeholder engagement skills (or the aptitude to learn).
- Previous Defence experience (highly regarded).
