**About the opportunity**

Blacktown City Council is growing rapidly, and the use of technology is critical to our success. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Application Specialist to join a transformational project in our Digital Services team on a term contract, full-time basis for up to 3 years.

This role is primarily responsible for providing Application Specialist skills to the upgrade of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, TechnologyOne Property and Rating suite, supporting the migration from version Ci to CiA.

**Qualifications and experience**

**Essential**:

- Degree qualification in business, technology, finance or related disciplines
- Demonstrated experience in the TechnologyOne Property and Rating System
- Demonstrated extensive understanding of complex Rates and Revenue functions within a local government organisation (4+ years).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementation, review and evaluation of systems and processes within a local government environment.

**Desirable**:

- Effective interpersonal skills to collaborate, influence and partner effectively with key stakeholders
- Experience with business process mapping, analysis, and business scenario verification
- Knowledge and experience relating to the customer request process and configuration.

**Remuneration and benefits**

The salary and conditions of employment are in accordance with Blacktown City Council’s Enterprise Agreement.
- Entry level for this position starts at 2,259.51 per week
- 35-hour working week
- Opportunity to participate in Council's flextime arrangement
