We are currently seeking a** permanent Full Time Load Control Officer** for our dynamic and fast-paced **Passenger Services Operation** located at **Sydney** **International Airport.**

**Key duties and tasks will include, but not be restricted or limited to**:

- Co-ordinate pre-flight procedures to maintain highest possible levels of service to client airlines.
- Careful monitoring and manipulation of Load Planning System, to ensure load planning is achieved in safe manner whilst optimising payload uplift and fuel efficiency of the aircraft.
- Prepare, sign, distribute, clear and file as appropriate, documents e.g., LIR, load sheets, balance charts, Notoc's, manifests, crew documentation, in accordance with local or international regulation or as reasonably required by the carrier.
- Monitor phone and radio communication including updating the flight information service. Convey and deliver flight documents between aircraft and appropriate airport facilities.Printing and delivering of the load sheet, (where required), to ensure that a quality, on-time departure is achieved.
- Undertake other Flight Operations duties
- Liaise with Customer Airlines representatives to ensure delivery of quality service product
- Administrative tasks as required including utilisation of technological system upgrades e.g., RSMS etc.

**To be successful in this role you must have the following skills and capabilities**:

- Sound understanding of airline systems, including DCS (Departure Control Systems), and/or the ability to acquire new knowledge quickly.
- Knowledge of work-related processes and procedures (applicable to this role).
- Load Control [Aircraft Weight and Balance] experience is a must.
- Willingness to travel and undertake intensive training relevant to the role.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
- Ability to work on rotating roster (between 4am to 11pm)
