**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
**Position**:
We are currently seeking an individual with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for detail and the ability to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders to join Council as a Property Officer.

Reporting to the Coordinator Governance, the position is responsible for collaborating with a small team to undertake a diverse range of responsibilities associated with the administration of Council’s community land portfolio. Key tasks include:

- **Preparation of Hiring Agreements**: Drafting and finalising agreements for the hiring of community land or facilities.
- **Contracts**: Creating, reviewing, and managing contracts related to the community land.
- **Leases and Licences**: Handling lease agreements and licenses for use of the land.
- **Research**: Undertaking research on property matters relating to Local Government.
- **Provision of advice and support**: liaise with and provide advice to stakeholders to ensure Council’s property management requirements are met, and provide general support on governance matters.

This temporary position is for a parental leave relief period of up to 12 months. Hours of work for this part time position are 28 hours per week to be work across Monday to Thursday.
