**About the Role**

The Kitchen Hands at Bethania Gardens take responsibility for providing the absolute best practice services around food preparation and delivery, kitchen and dining room cleanliness, with a focus on food safety/hygiene and on the efficient delivery of delicious food to the residents.

**Key duties include**:

- Following food preparation instructions from the cook.
- Ensuring that the dining room and food service areas are clean and prepared.
- Monitoring compliance with the nutritional requirements of residents, according to individual dietary needs guides.
- Serving, plating and delivering food.
- Washing up, removing wastage and cleaning the kitchen and dining room.
- Ensuring that food supplies are stored at appropriate temperatures and with appropriate stock levels.

**These roles are located at our stunning Bethania Gardens facility in Bethania. Our Kitchen Hands work across all 7 days of the week and are rostered anywhere between 0630 - 1800. We are happy to provide flexibility, but the more availability you are able to provide us with, the more shifts we can offer in return These roles will be hired on a permanent part time basis.**

**Skills & Experience**

**Key selection criteria includes**:

- Possesses the rights to work in Australia
- Possess or willing to obtain an NDIS clearance
- Vaccinated against seasonal influenza
- Vaccinated against COVID-19***
