A rare opportunity exists for a Communications Manager within Wage Inspectorate Victoria. Leading a small team of talented communications professionals, you will build upon and mature our brand and help us to increase community and stakeholder awareness of the law, in line with our vision to create productive and prosperous workplaces for all Victorians. You will be responsible for leading and promoting our 5 strategic priorities and focus on building strong and trusted relationships with our stakeholders, while educating and informing businesses and workers about workplace rights and obligations in our state.

The Communications Manager leads all aspects of internal and external communications, including internal messaging, media liaison, website and social media channels, campaigns and stakeholder engagement. This senior position leads a small team of communications and engagement professionals and is accountable for implementing the Wage Inspectorate's communications program and its three-year education strategy. This position is the Wage Inspectorate's most senior communications and engagement professional and provides strategic communications, engagement, reputation management and media liaison advice to the Commissioner, as agency head, and the organisation's Executive Committee.

This position is ideally suited to a communications generalist with demonstrated management experience who has worked across the full spectrum of communications and engagement channels used in government and/or the private sector.
