JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa is looking for enthusiastic **Food & Beverage Supervisor** join our fantastic In Room Dining team on a full time basis for a period of 6 months.

**About the role**

The In Room Dining Supervisor will report to the Restaurant & In Room Dining Manager and is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of In Room Dining with a focus on effective team communication to enhance the customer experience.

**Critical responsibilities**:

- Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimum service and that guest needs are met.
- Inspect grooming and attire of staff, and rectify any deficiencies.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.
- Display hands on leadership and lead by example
- Be organised and understand room movements, amenity lists, and other daily priorities to ensure a seamless operation.
- Communicate effectively with the team so they can perform at their best
- Ensure Talent are working together collaboratively to meet and anticipate guests needs
- Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessary supplies
- Champion brand standards to ensure consistency, quality, and luxury service is delivered to all our guests
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships and identify training needs of the team so they too can develop.
- Clear and professional language
- Previous experience in a luxury hotel, preferably in In Room Dining
- Experience in a leadership position
- Previous experience in food & beverage service, ideally in a hotel environment
- Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
- Has a positive, can-do attitude
- Enjoys working in a fast paced environment
- Ability to build positive relationships with guests and team members
