** The opportunity**

Kickstart your career in Greenkeeping with Inner West Council. This hands-on role lets you earn while you learn, gaining valuable skills while completing a Certificate III Sports Turf Management. Over the next 48 months, you’ll be part of a fully supported program that blends on-the-job training with face-to-face classes approximately one day every three weeks at Penrith.

** About the role**

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone passionate about working outdoors and contributing to the maintenance and enhancement of our sporting fields, gardens, and public spaces. As a Greenkeeping Apprentice, you will develop valuable skills while supporting the team with day-to-day operations in the upkeep of council horticultural and greenkeeping assets.

** Remuneration**

From $827.40 per week + 12% Superannuation

** Some of the required skills, experience and qualifications**
- Capacity to undertake a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management or equivalent Parks and Gardens qualification
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team with a high level of motivation
- NSW Class C Motor Vehicle driver’s licence
- Ability to attain an NSW General Construction Induction card (White card) as required
