The primary responsibility of the Welding Inspector is to coordinate all forms of Quality welding procedures on site. Welding inspectors will also successfully work with teams on site and ensure the project achieves the required quality requirements by successfully coordinating and inspecting during the construction of the project.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**:

- Ensuring compliance with legislative and internal Safety standards.
- Review and completion of QA deliverables documentation, QMP, ITPs, MDR, FICs and Welding Procedures.
- Undertking welder qualification vadility, management of process ( WPS ),
- Comply with all ISO quality requirements within the operations team.

**Skills and Experience**:

- IWS International Welding specialist or Certificate no 10-supervisor cert of competency AS1795 and AS2214.
- Construction industry experience.
- Trade background in welding and fabrication or tertiary qualified in engineering.
- Proven experience in welding supervisory role.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Sound Knowledge of Microsoft software.
- Experience through both structural steel and piping standards AS 1554/AS 3992
- Ability to advance the welders skill and knowledge and impart your experience is a proactive manner.
- Drive site Quality standards.
- Assist in the advancement of the welder’s competency.
- Lead in the promotion of safety and initiatives across the department.
- Identify contingencies and risk management initiatives so that they can be carried out to minimise the potential disruption of safety and production.
- Strong communication skill and be a team player.
