**Operations Manager** is required, based in
**Nagambie, VIC**
**.** Reporting to the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day running of production, operations, warehouse and maintenance while developing and coaching talent along the way.

**About the role**:

- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Provides recommendations to improve productivity and efficiencies and reduce costs across all areas of responsibility.
- Provides monthly reports on all area’s regarding production numbers, maintenance costs and warehouse output.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Maintain and review all policies and procedures for all areas and ensure compliance to the law and ensure continuity of BRC, HACCP, OH&S and SMETA for all direct report areas.
- Ensures all plant and equipment are maintained in a satisfactory and clean working condition to enable quality output to agreed standards.
- Raising any OH&S issues in a timely manner
- Managing all production, warehouse and maintenance staff performance issues and finding resolutions where necessary

**About you**:

- Proven experience in a management position
- Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
- Strong focus on OHS
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Previous experience in the food and beverage manufacturing industry advantageous but not essential
